Easter Egg Garland

OK - so I'm getting a little too obsessed with decorating for Easter.

It started with my Spring Wreath and now I've made an Easter Egg garland out of plastic pound shop (dollar store for those of you across the pond) eggs.  You know the type you can use to hide little Easter gifts in for an egg hunt.

The cheap eggs tend to have a hole in each end (which I'd never noticed until I saw this idea on Pinterest) which means they lend themselves perfectly to being strung together.

I got 2 different size eggs and made a garland of each simply by threading them onto bakers twine!

My eggs came from 2 different Pound shops - one lot did have holes in and the other didn't and so I did have to drill holes in one set.

This is a fab little activity to do with the kids as the threading is really great for their hand-eye co-ordination and dexterity.

I planned to make them to go around the front door but they haven't made it that far!  Still another couple of weeks for me to make some more.
